Unscathed Malevolence

Unscathed Malevolence

A Poem by RuthlessMind
"

I wrote this poem for a school paper. I had to take a short story we read and come up with a topic for a poem.

"

The heart monitor fades.

A memory played.

A face in pain.

Life is drained.

Malevolence’s fist crashing down.

In blood, they now drown.

Chaos unfolds.

This is what ager holds.

Malevolence must end.

Their lives he will defend.

He’s hatched a plan.

The workings of a madman.

Full of wrath,

He has become a psychopath.

He will make her pay.

She is now the prey.

That night came quick,

It would be nothing short of horrific.

like always Malevolence had a drink.

Unscathed gave little time to rethink.

Malevolence’s animosity rang.

Her fist met his face with a bang.

Her words hacked him away.

Her unforgiving wordplay.

There is a crash.

His arm now slashed.

She blocks his airway.

His mind in disarray.

A fight for his life.

He grabs the Knife.

Blood stains the floor.

She lays there a corps.

The heart monitor rings.

Quietly he sings.

Hate only brings more hate. Violence is never the real answer. Unless you ask Mattie Boy. But he's a weirdo.

Always and with love
