Darkness

darkness doesnt lie to you,
it comes along with no promise,
it doesnt percieve anything,
it doesnt take on the look of anything else,
it doesnt allow the light to pentrate into it,
it will only reflect it away,
it protects itself,
it surrounds everything,
it engulfs all,
it provides a cover,
it just sits back and covers all,
it knows all,
it sees all,
it holds all secrets,
it holds all lies,
it is just there,
unseen and yet so clear...
