Time goes on,
Time is the only thing that never waits for you to catch up,
It just keeps putting along,
if your with it,
your there,
if your behind,
it has no prejudice,
it has no doubts,
it just keeps moving along,
following its own path,
continueing on like a train on a rail,
it doesnt squander,
it doesnt meander along,
it has a mission,
it just keeps going forth,
never looks back to see where it has been,
just keeps its eyes forward,
and level,
it doesnt look upon the ground to see what is ahead,
it could careless what was laying ahead of it,
it isnt worried about being snuffed out,
for time will continue to go on,
time is the one thing I would like to be like in this world.
It never regrets anything,
it never doubts anything,
and it never cares about anything but itself,
you dont ever hear of time having a spouse,
or a relationship,
it just doesnt care about anything but time,
therefore maybe being selfish as time,
is a good way to be,
it has worked for him all these years.
I want to be just like time,
when time is gone,
no one ever ask how was time,
or did you notice time when it was here,
no one ever notices time,
it just sneaks in,
and sneaks out,
I want to be like time....
