Basically, it's revelation as depicted in the gospel, and we are all (mostly) screwed. since it's so utterly terrifying, how long could you live for if you had an army behind you.

Thankyou for pointing out how unclear this is.

Very briefly - it's events depicted in the book of revelation and a first person perspective of people living through those events.
going for a Tomorrow when the war began meets Clash of the Titans sort of thing... As you can tell I'm floundering on this one.. Thanks for the feedback
