YIELDA Poem by RuseInexLet me tell a secret Of the thin air it comes Silent sounds bring it From the deepest stillness of the quiet surrounding your sweet heart As you let it come In weakness, willingly disarmed you yield your trust You call and ask And he answers in your emptied state you yield your tender spirit In expectation feel his anointing love So deep it hurts You finally feel the truth You asked him if he be real To you himself reveal It took courage and a humbling of your infernal pride But you did it You beat this one over the one who’s played with your soul bent to destroy it to own it And God in his great love for you let you feel it let you find him who is meek and lowly of heart whose son does share his mind of secrets gone past of those to come at his everlasting throne comforts you in all your dreads uplifts your spirit to the highest heights of love Comes the savior of the world Jesus © 2018 RuseInex |
