unseen

when in the course of human events,
an unseen malevolent entity
invades your reality

when it's aim is to destroy you by subversion,
and you unawares and of its existence,
denial,

all of your woes you attribute to ordinary events,
as in no such thing,
belial

no such thing as hell exists
and yet by it surrounded
demons unseen

you curse and cry and weep
pummel at the air as your emotions
in frustration,
in helplessness steep

you being blind
while it sees all
and your mind it reads
like an open book
it's pages turns and
sifts you like wheat,

plots your possession,
your soul to take,
and you blind to it,
it's invisibleness,
it's upper hand
its claw
its voice
your soul to take

The heart is desperately wicked,
who can know it?

when at your wit's end,
you desperately hang
at the edge of another precipice,
when your mind with terror filled,
your very core shaken,
the pangs of death,
it's frigid fangs
into your beating,
heart sink,
unaware of heaven's creation
a mercy seat

cry out,
invoke the name of the Lord God on high,
not of gods,
under who the world sways
the fallen angels
who the bulk of humanity
unknowingly serves,
coming back in force
like in the days of Noah
to kill humanity,

but
for the creator of heaven and earth
let his love rescue you
and carry you
of his Son
be not ashamed to call him by name
Jesus, the Christ
call him friend

to his own sanctuary,
despite the sting of death
you will go,
be forever safe
