sail onA Poem by RuseInexon, on we slowly move, on and over, across the ground on, we climb to higher ground across the land, past the fallen ones now we lift and sail on, above the ground, past the fallen, past the gone on, on we sail to recompense on, on we move beyond the kill, beyond the fill of remorse buried beneath the powdered grind of human bones, recompense for crimes committed in the dark when weak, the foolish night, wound eternal turns of past mistakes turned by the hand of wild minds, drunken down by madness, by plunder and the pride over the naked earth beyond far above, beyond the felons dressed in cloaks of priests, deceived the babes, the fallen ones on, on we sail, on we rise on, past the fallen carrion of human flesh past the wastelands of past mistakes the sound of flute plays over fields of the fallen ones, beneath the earth they lay, unseen to the naked eye, buried in the waste, broken down dissolved and purged beneath the roots of prairie grass, rocks and tainted tired ground, far above rusted blood sail on, on the flute plays, on and on, over the fallen ones turned to dust under the prairie grass, rocks and tainted bloody, tired covered earth on, sail on, sail over, sail on, then rest with me sail over the killing fields of the fallen ones, let not your feet touch the ground on and on, over the golden and violet wild flowers waving in the chill breeze over the highest mountains catch the clouds, lift your voice with me, sail with me, go over with me to the other side on, as the flute plays its melody, sail over to the other side and rest and weep with me © 2017 RuseInex |
