i've looked to see,
i've been granted a taste
of what much of the mysteries
of life on this earth are
to a reasonable extent
compared to those revealed
to the bulk of men of the past

the knowledge explosion of the present era
as daniel in his book revealed helps satisfy my need
though i'm still curious
way beyond the norm of most
the wonders of elements i realize enough,
of plant life and animals,
enough of the stars and comets and such,
the depths of their breeding place,
though i still hunger now and then,
the phenomenon that occurs up there,
i have not had my fill,
enoch's book has helped,
as has God's book of course,
and now i wait
and watch

i will always want to know more,
but my desire is squelched in lieu of what i feel
the earth is waning as it states in the book of romans
the earth groans waiting for a new era of isaiah's time,
a time of great peace and love based on truth,
no hoax, no fake news, no ugly pride, no hate,
no suffering, no death
that's what i hunger for
that is why i've had my fill
and now i wait
i watch

space is my deepest focus of interest
up it leads beyond the levels of the heavens,
past the 3rd and seventh level to the very throne
of God Almighty

space contains the story of things past and to come,
besides its coldness to our eyes,
besides its blackness with its harsh indifference,
it's utter loneliness,
its beauty bathed by stars' lights,
brought by satellite probes and telescope,
things like quasars
stars of signs and wonders, exceed,
like the star above a town in israel, long ago,
like the pleiades and their blue platinum light,
arranged in line, almost like the pyramids on earth,
or rather these stones arranged like them
there's wonders there,
like the face of mars,
wonders everywhere really,
we'll never know them all,
in this flash of a lifetime
now i wait
and watch

space- my deepest curiosity
i know it's a lair for spirit beings,
malevolent, they surround the sphere of earth,
strive to conquer our soul
i know other beings though
who did not fall,
in that they did not rebel
they also dwell
and guard therein,
they do the will of the Master of the Universe,
who holds all in order,
who quells disorder,
sustains until the return of his anointed One

in the meantime, i restrain myself,
enough as is possible
to live my ebbing life in painful tolerance
what's done is done,
is what is it is,
the hardest part to change,
as if i could,
i can't-
is the hardest part- acceptance

i do not hint at rebellion,
what ludicrousness,
like a gnat that flies into the candle flame,
so utter vain,

i would not rebel against the Good,
i'd rather die a tortured death,
be as null
be no part of the lord of rebellion,
who was cast out of heaven,
down like a shooting star,
like lightening,
who is real, though these ideas are scoffed,
let them scoff
now i wait
i watch

it would be a wondrous thing
if most would believe bible fact and cease to listen,
to the continuing lies of lucifer's promised glory,
his goal is to take down as many as he can into his domain

i'd rather die a tortured death,
yield myself to the Lord Himself
than the lord of the flies
be an null,
be no part of beelzebub's rebellion,
who still inhabits the atmosphere and the earth,
seeking souls to devour

rather, i disdain against the lie swallowed,
that we as a species ate,
that we too can be as gods

i choose to quell my thirst,
to know what is at stake,
against the need to insist on my own way,
by grace instead i choose,
to leave some things alone

God will satisfy the cravings moored to my limitations
He has promised to quench my thirst with living springs
we must wait the fulfillment of his words,
no eyes have seen,
no ears heard;
it hasn't even crossed man's mind
the wonders, the marvelous things,
He has in store for those who love Him

i've looked to see,
i've been granted a taste,
of what many of the mysteries,
of life on this earth are
i know enough
i have salvation of eternal life
i know enough,
enough to trust him and wait
