spirit.eyes hidden

A Poem by RuseInex

with eyes of a microscope,

i saw splendid things

and deeper still i looked and saw

with electron microscope,

tool of wonder

i saw splendid things on top of splendor

smaller yet than the small of small,

no man with organ eyes could ever see

i looked deeper still than these instruments

and pondered what most of us can never see,

the things unseen, no instrument at present can ever see

i even prayed,

a tool no instrument can ever achieve,

one such tool, the accelerator cern,

particle collider comes exceeding close

works buried beneath switzerland and france,

what a wonder,

but is only  machine without a soul

i pondered, how marvelous,

despite our wars domestic,

in our homes and streets

across the earth to all quarters,

including world wars, of course

and still human kind has time to invent

instruments despite the human suffering,

hunger and waste, sordid things of this sort,

still has time to thrive

for us to see, to work, to play

and even plot another war,

in the name of self defense

such in part is the meaning explanation in a sense,

peace on earth, good will toward men,

an answer to the apparent paradox

. . . .

the parts of pieces of the bits,

of the specks of tiniest tiny,

are laid at our feet to see

the things it took to get me here to see,

were millions steps,

in the millions plus,

history, people, brilliant moments

bright and dark,

sparks against the ignorance,

the spirit's eternal love that works,

in the midst of world's ubiquitous hate

. . . .

electric and magnetic,

theory and fact,

and energy of mind with spirit,

and no doubt unseen entities, both good and evil

consider by example brief, medicine to cure the sick,

in the name of many benevolent medical contributors

contrast to see the ones who cast millions into gas filled chambers

in the name of their wicked ventures, so called master race

i sensed these spirit entities many times within my span of life

i'm sure you too,

will reflect as true

whether your opinion holds true

that they are real,

or not,

or a figment of imagination

i have felt and heard these things,

intelligences, some call ghosts,

i call demons if malevolent

'tho test the spirits by the word of God

for some appear deceitful as angels of light

i've seen an angel once directly,

an' times indirectly,

it's light of presence felt

with eyes of spirit i have seen visions

even have concrete imprints appear with photographs

i saw truths hidden from the world

i heard things in my inner self not audible to human ear

i heard about the wonderous One

the mighty one who knows the meaning of the splendid things i saw

i heard he created them and i believe Him

(colossians ch 1, v 16)

i learned he holds all things together,

like the 4th power that hold the electric with the magnetic

with the gravitational,

the 4th power for a unified theory of relativity

which einstein searched for,

still undiscovered,

the power of mighty minds are searching still

and cannot seem to find

they search in vain because although they've heard of him

they stumble over him time and again

and again like the one who drags the stone

to the top of the hill high time and again,

and again,

only to roll it back down again

they stumble over the stone and fail to see

and if they would only open up their eyes

or allow him to, for them,

as he did to heal the sick and sight to blind,

with his physics and past to see,

past their, only-what-we-can-see-with-our-eyes mentality

past their only physicality

to which they cling like babes to pacifiers,

or to mom's apron strings,

like those afraid to let go

of the waters of the shore and learn to swim the deep,

to reach beyond to spirituality,

for the word of spirit made flesh

the one way, who is the truth and the life,

they'd meet eternity himself

let go of the edge, plunge right in

and like enoch, the one who walked with God

and was taken up to see marvels in space,

led by angels,

they'd see greater things like this and ponder,

feed their scientific minds, rejoice

find greater wonders still

beyond their instruments to know,

they'd save their very souls

* for in him all things were created, things in

heaven and on earth, visible and invisible,

whether thrones or dominions or rulers or

authorities . . . all things were created through

him and for him
