resolutionA Poem by RuseInex
i will wait in the quiet and when my chance it comes i'll spring
dive right in, through the gate into a quiet alpine lake i know the road that leads to there, escape the mean barbs and stings of crazies who esteem to know it all and yet they cannot get out of their own regret, so they lash out hate and vinegar spray, spews of words askew not realizing they damage every nerve of their own view and so with mine own extreme regret i rise to fly away with me, i'll take the fall if i fail in my escape to inhale, suck each and every precious breath before the poison words of hate that emanate from those lips and angry tongues who would with one final thrust of waste take me down with them into forbidden lakes, polluted drenched i will not gather tons of grime and help to spread the rhyme i'd rather sow those seeds of love than murder my own body for i desire life and peace i must let foolhardiness loom away from my view the death of dark and morbid mock eschew i must make haste to walk in new, light each day my soul amuse © 2017 RuseInex |
