3 starsA Poem by RuseInex
three stars float far above in the lit bright of neon light
in creamy white of glowing clouds the silhouette of alpine tree, foreground dark stands its tallest tip, touches the height of night its shoulders wear the frosted tint of the glow no moving nocturnal wind, even the slightest wisp of breeze is nought these crystal bright, three solitary lights boldly imposed captivate my view, stand stark suspended solid platinum like shine of other world chrome pierce time and space bold into my naked, frail eye the night is large and empty, the quarter moon behind my back invades the dark as the the clouds in the western sky unveil its face the clarity of the air reveals the startling glare sudden imposed upon the ground of weary earth by this mistress of the sun her light does not detract the least the brilliant shine of those three stars in the eastern sky, three quarters elevation above the ragged horizon the still quiet penetrates connects my thought with the divine the father, son, holy ghost in awe i am in wonder stare the tree, the moon, the earth aware, they bow the power, the turns of splendor majestic move by word of heaven's reach © 2016 RuseInex |
