more than a bugA Poem by RuseInexher gigantic size, matches mine in breadth, only surpasses me by her spreaded wings, belonging to the tiger tail kind butterfly eyes compound surround, sees a hundred views of me, i think her furry head, of soft silken threads protrude short and tickle she lets me stroke her cheek, questions not my looks her tongue retracts, coiled against her chin "my tongue," i said, "is short to speak, to play and eat yours, a hollow tube with to feed, i see uncoils, can you speak?" i felt a low emittance buzz my palm that rested on her head she replied in telepathic form, "my tongue, is what you call my mouth," "it's truly made by God above by which to feed of flowers' nectar, it coils for airborne travel from place to place you are welcome on my back to ride" i mounted on her thorax, the middle part of an insect's form her fluorescent, yellowblack scales that comprise her majestic kind adhered like down as they scattered by my handhold's grip to my face as i leaned against her breast to lift i heard her softly beating heart, it stirred my own to love her intrigued in rapture, the patterns of her wings, her eyes round protruding geometric hexagonal spheres within reflecting iridescent light her voice i heard within my heart just as before, soft and graceful filled "you may grasp me to hold yourself in safe, my antennae either one or both, you'll not offend me, it's okay, i'd rather die by beak of a hungry bird, than for you to fall on the rocks of where i take you" "i wasn't sure what to do, you being a lady, by my scruples, i'd rather not impose upon your private body parts" i felt a surge of hormonal flows as a man's does go in love with her, perhaps, how possible? impossible? she sprung up in sudden flight, instant lift, a cushioned spring of release like buoyant hot air balloon unleashed of tethered rope we lifted higher with each graceful stroke of her transformed power i pondered, from lowly caterpillar worm, chrysalis sleep, dormancy's repose emerged to be, gift divine, enrapture man
flitting beauty to beautify, justify the eye, satisfy its need to see to think that i ride its back, higher up than i've ever been into the baby blue of sky, her moving body pressed to mine her wings in smooth tandem strokes the highest atmosphere surrounding earth below the mountain lakes down on the ground, of brightest midnight blue she flew me to the highest mountain, like everest, but without the snow and ice enshrouded with veiled wisps, of gossamer threads, of whitest clouds she landed in a field of flowers that matched our size in growth upon the mountain slope she picked the lavender one in color, the one with 12 petals and scent of jasmine uncoiled her tongue and began to feed me, transfixed in awe, the most wondrous thing i ever saw © 2016 RuseInex |
