love's missionA Poem by RuseInexescape from pain upon this earth is impossible
today i saw you worn from 60 sun cycle revolutions of earth
you building, assisting, nurturing, caring, praying, suffering worn skin, weary bones weakened, wearing flaccid muscles, drooping sustaining arthritic spasms, you valiantly, silently press to the course your mission undeterred by pains of this life of spinal columns’ surgical implant, total knee replacement you trek nonetheless, in the courses of your home and streets exhausting, fulfilling yourself to me, ours and them your mission, undeterred by pains of life your tears silent fall, steadily, indiscreetly flowing since the dawn your birth predestined for sorrows’ cries, vialed and preserved for promises be kept, their count and recompense for you, their sum’s total worth, eternal embrace soul restored, repaired, jeweled glories’ essence cradled in the bosom of heaven’s womb everlasting rest, scripted in his books, recorded therein by he who watches, who knows the stars he made by name and yours no less, he comes into into his chambers and whispers, “wait my love, ’til the tar black night falls, my arms will sustain you, ’til it be over past until your mission of these pains of life be past” you cried unseen at times, openly spied by your closest soul’s companion - me who tries who sees and keeps his silence for times opportune to show more love’s tenderness of heart, penance of sins toward you put on, in your pain of life undeterred i stand awe stricken and resolve to love you now where others failed, were skilled to inflict pain on you delighted in their schemes to deter your life by pain before the end, it it is for me to love you then, my mission in this life shall be to lessen your pains it would be too late to honor you tomorrow not to soon to warm the cold parts of my heart to shun the casting of yours aside, it is now, while you are alive that i vow and bow, confirm-affirm that you are more valuable to me than all the atoms of my physical sum combined and i will uphold our love until our mission of these pains of life be past © 2015 RuseInex |
