Tech Overload

Tech Overload

A Poem by RuseInex
"

can't live without technology, some of us may not want it to rule our lives, but without it, well . . .

"
Most desirous to be
completely, totally machinery
free
of electricity
of mechanical
though science with its
gears, springs, screws,
wires, circuits, switches
i love
Most desirous to be
completely totally computer
free
of radio
of television
of computer
to see
what i and you
could be
without
dependence on these
interesting to see
us live our lives
without machinery
No, not to stones, wood
animal bones, tendons and hides
Rather, technology
of mind and soul
to build of thoughts
invent
those things at command of word
a walk in the garden
age old question perhaps solved
glimpse into past dawn of origins
human race
birthing
what do angels do
for entertainment
do they watch t.v.?
i think not
i would truly give to know
and emulate
i would truly like to see
what there is to do
apart from machinery
my coveted future technology
would be a future
without machinery
