Winter Emotion

Winter Emotion

A Poem by RuseInex
"

lack of sunshine can at times bring low thoughts

"

winter came with its frosted moon

night couple's cold composite bite

late comes sun's light

stretch of night’s uninvited twilight’s fall

clings to me and suffocates my eyes' tunnels dark,

wraps my mind in its pall

winter's frosty breath blew rude

on autumn lady's backside

its stare so harsh, no gentle touch

with icy grips hard on my neck and throat

every year winter brings the flu

no matter what I do

to prevent its assault upon the day

winter hides bright sun by winter fog

black early nights align in crime

to steal its light from the day

winter slow, winter grey, winter wet,

winter wind chill, all the bones

make trees' leaves and my mind fall

to frozen thoughts slow blood flow

hard to rise from bed closed inside myself

cold colors grey, white silver blue

cold breath, skin hands and cheeks

cold nose, breath fingers and the toes

much colder still hearts in alley ways

airports, hospitals, malls and those alone

winter brings me low vibration's hum

at times depressive thoughts

need assistance resistance to keep these hostage

with positive attitudes and light of the sun
