Winter EmotionA Poem by RuseInexlack of sunshine can at times bring low thoughtswinter came with its frosted moon night couple's cold composite bite late comes sun's light stretch of night’s uninvited twilight’s fall clings to me and suffocates my eyes' tunnels dark, wraps my mind in its pall winter's frosty breath blew rude on autumn lady's backside its stare so harsh, no gentle touch with icy grips hard on my neck and throat every year winter brings the flu no matter what I do to prevent its assault upon the day winter hides bright sun by winter fog black early nights align in crime to steal its light from the day winter slow, winter grey, winter wet, winter wind chill, all the bones make trees' leaves and my mind fall to frozen thoughts slow blood flow hard to rise from bed closed inside myself cold colors grey, white silver blue cold breath, skin hands and cheeks cold nose, breath fingers and the toes much colder still hearts in alley ways airports, hospitals, malls and those alone winter brings me low vibration's hum at times depressive thoughts need assistance resistance to keep these hostage with positive attitudes and light of the sun © 2015 RuseInex |
