StepsA Poem by RuseInexpensive transition in lifemy
steps are precious each
one i take leaves me lesser takes
me closer to the end my
steps are precious each
one sweeps me the final precipice end
of days youthful times when
i ran, as i jumped soft
supple springing steps sprang
and danced radiant
face form moved in grace soft
airy dream dance spheres of life no
pains, no aching no shriveled hands no
age-ed skin, no glass itched eyes no
feebled drooping grins no
weakened, tethered listless passions my
steps are precious now rather
not spend another one wandering
wasting empty turns facing
searching trending spending wasting mazes
with deception's traces my
steps are precious end
time for vices lay
me down to sleep i
shall wake new meadow lands streams'
water sounds falling 'round eternal
lasting steps buoyed far flight beyond
boundless highest rays of heaven's light my
steps are precious i
will follow now, I
will follow now along the way © 2015 RuseInex |
