Wonderful Morning

This is what makes life worth living...

7:26 A.M.
Dragging on a cigarette
Staring out the window
Watching the rain

I dream about a wonderful world
Where the air is warm
And the sun is shining

My parents are there
Starry eyed
Watching the clouds roll on
We hug each other
Under the perfect sky

Mother's skin is clear
Father's heart is healthy
And I
I have no scars

It makes me weep
The tears wash all negativity
From my existence

And it's these dreams
That make life worth living
