No One's Paying Attention In Class

One of my early poems, written Friday, May 26, 2006 in my 6th grade class ( I started writing poems in late April of my 5th grade year). It was written a day before my birthday! :D

No one’s paying attention in class,

Out teacher’s really mad.

We just sit in our seats,

Really bored and sad.

 

We wish it was lunch,

Instead of doing math.

We’re wishing that time

Would hurry up and pass.

 

It’s not even one hour.

We’re bored and that's hard not to show.

It’s hard to wait for lunch,

When recess was just five minutes ago.
