Something I Can't Tell

Written at a time when I once could not trust anyone or anyone in this world. But now I have changed. And it has made a difference I never wish to take back: a good change.

theres something i cant tell

i can never tell the world

something it never needs to know

something i hide for myself

for no one to ever see

 

sometimes i wish to let it out

to let it go

to let it fly

but i cannot do that

the world will never cherish it

for the world

is a cruel and lying place

a world you cannot trust

 

i hope to let it out one day

i but i know that

it will probably be a long time

for me to confess

the secret i hold inside

for it is something important

something the world

wow. this is an awesome poem. it really has a lot of connection to everyone cuz everyone is hiding something... even if they don't know it. i like it a lot.

I love it and I do relate there are so many secrets that people keep hidden including me. Some of us maybe to afraid of how people will act or what they will say or maybe it's just something too hard to share. This is a great poem with a lot of meaning thanks for sharing.
