A Letter to Far, Far Away

And old poem I wrote deticated to all my friends that live far, far away.

A letter sealed

Destined to go far, far, away

Is with me now

Ready to go its way

 

A letter to a friend

Who lives so far away

Is going to leave me now

For it cannot stay

 

A letter in red

For someone you love

Sealed with a scent

Of a fresh foxglove

Every letter you write

Cannot always stay

It must be set free, like a bird from its cage

Able to go its own way
