Nature at its finest

Nature at its finest

A Poem by Nathaniel Williams

Sunlight radiates through my double glazed window not wanting to remove myself out these silky bed sheets. On the outside of my window sill rest's a small chirping bird awake to sing to other fellow birds. Brown orange full grown leafs fall with grace on the local neighbors lawns. Embracing life at its presence. Most times I stroll to parks small lakes to get away from the vibrant on the go city life. In the atmosphere the fresh smell of grass watching families engaging in activities rolling down steep hills. striking performance from the swans gliding into the water to snatch bread that has been thrown by passer-by.

There is great potential in the beautiful imagery of a warm, Fall day as you awaken to sunlight and birds. It seems like this is a prose poem in the making, and there is still something else you want to say about taking a break from the busyness of city life as you transition from one scenery to another.
