Sour TeardropsA Poem by EgonarcSomething I wrote during a relationship that was special to me but I knew it was heading down the wrong road. Wish I noticed sooner though.
Lemonade as its seeping into your mouth,
no matter how it seems, As the sweet tingles your tongue, The sour remains near, tainted at the grain, all you can do is take the good with the bad, As strange as it seems, Savoring the sour tear drops, Of my dream, I love you no mater what, But learning to let go, Even though I was scared, the silence didn't hurt only me but us, My mind clouds and I want to say out loud, "I want to be selfish and take you for my self, no one else," Yet, what would you say if you saw me like this? Like Lemonade no matter how sweet it may be, the sour will always linger on your tongue, Sizzling with the good and bad, As strange as it seems, Savoring the last sour tear drop.
