The TrustA Poem by The Rainmaker
When my heart and mind
Wander to where they ought not be I remember your words I trust you, do you trust me? When the night creeps in closing, clasping constricting, claiming The truth of your light I remember those words Do you trust me, because I trust you. I hold these words and gamble I pray that my risk In you In love Carries the same weight to me as it does with you.
