Tomorrow's Sun

Tomorrow's Sun

A Poem by The Rainmaker
"

Live in the past or fight for the future.

"
Suffer me not the iniquities of a bygone day
For the sins of my father and his before him,
are not my own.

Just as the breaths of yesterday fall away
Just as the sun sets on a broken world
To breath life into a new day

For when the sun breaks the horizon
A choice must be made
to make
to break
to change
to stay
To write your own history on the slate

Find a calm center
Before you shake yourself to pieces.

Call me crazy, these are the words of the Hang men, to the man who will swing. Very visionary.

There is much wisdom in these words. So true is it that to take the steps needed in this journey we call life, that we must step forward and free of the past anchors that have held us in check for far to long. Only in charting our own courses and carving our own paths into the future will our true destinies be found within a brighter day.

Fantastic Ink!
