A Thousand TimesA Poem by The RainmakerThere are never numbers enough
A thousand times I'll call you
In name, in heart, in voice To let you know, when were apart You're still my one and only choice. A thousand times I'll find you From the world, from the mirror I'll never stop searching Until you are safe. You are here. A thousand times I'll come running When you need a guide A person to lean your head on A person to hear you cry. A thousand times I'll hold you When the night has settled in When the waves of pain crash on the shores of despair I'll promise you the sun will win. A thousand times I'll kiss you To let you know you're mine Until the clockwork unravels Straight through the end of time. A thousand times I'll promise All these words, I'll swear A thousand time is never enough To express the love I bear.
