Please Dont Hurt me

Please Dont Hurt me

A Poem by Mambo
"

Most people are afraid of themselves, of their own reality;they try to hide themselves, their feelings most of all.

"

Please Dont hurt me.....

Dont hurt me by saying that I have lost my love

though I might tell you,how beautiful she was

how much I used to love her,

Dont feel bad,it was my past..

Yes i might tell you several times,

that I still love her and she left me alone........

But you dare not hurt me telling that indeed she has gone.

Please dont hurt me saying I have a love interest,

whom I have not seen,

I do hear her saying 'she loves me'

Hey dont you feel insecure, you are my present...

You are always there

Yes she is important to me

But again you dare not say that I am cheating on you........

 and Myself as well.......

Please please dont hurt me saying I never loved my sire

He was a tacit approver,

He was a guide, an ardent protector

I realized after he did expire

It was a feeling supressed, A tear unshed to sympathise or accord

But, again, Dont you dare say I used to hate him for no reasons ...

Until He was dead.

Hey,Dont you ever dare to say....

A word of criticise for the reason of what I am

because I know the whole world conspires against my being...

they are envious, invidous, because  I am The King

I know what I am,

A man understands himself better than anyone else

So, hey! Dear friend Dont you ever dare to say what I am.....

I dont say anything that can hurt you....

But

DONT DONT ever dare to HURT ME  anyway!!!

This piece to me describes the healing process after a great loss of some sort. When we are at the time of rage against all and the thought of anyone trying to help us heal, filling our heads with false hopes and possibilities of a brighter tommorow just raises our tempers to flash.

alot of power in this piece...Strong Words!

Such a familiar feeling I used to have. I like how it grew. It caught me off guard, but I really like it. I hope to read more of your works.
