Dialogue

Dialogue

A Poem by Buck Thomas

Dialogue, dialogue,
Save me your grief.
You can't stop complaining,
When I'm not the thief.

You sit there all proud,
Speaking in tongues.
Or yelling at me,
From deep in your lungs.

You cry and grieve,
When you're being sentimental.
Or, laugh like a fool,
As if you've gone mental.

Just tell a grand story,
That you keep for yourself.
Until one day,
You're up on a shelf.

Interesting little poem. Think you pull it off rather well.
