And if they play my life on the big screen?A Poem by Poetryloverself reflection
And if they play my life on the big screen?
Legs will shiver standing in front taller a glimpse into the crowds I force popped out eyes my pupil sinking deeper My lips trembling A manifestation of the biblical ‘gnashing of the teeth’ friction against my throat Straight stifle neck. Its them and me against me Nails harden deep inside my belly a pit forming Tickling noises inside my head Drenched in sweat squeezed out of my blood Splushing out of every capillary vein the hanging tiny cloth covering my body will blow away that which was hidden uncovered naked and exposed Shame over my skin Fear, Anger and fury, Self-hate, Witnessing the insatiable appetite i had for sin Having every bit of it to the last crumb. Playing Stare game with Regret Next with Shame aware fully an undoubtable defeat awaits me A crowning moment for them both I bet I will be Numbed but still will feel tears drenching down If anything, don’t play the story of my life on the big screen For it will suck out and blow away the little dignity left within me. © 2019 PoetryloverAuthor's Note
