On the waves

Like as the waves make towards the pebbl'd shore, so do our minutes, hasten to their end. William Shakespeare

Words out of shells

phrases of sand

the wind that brings them

and rocks it on the waves

 

a seagull

squawks in between

 

I’m drowning in their sounds

they take me away

forever so deep

in the sea

 

my thoughts are streaming

through my head in my hands

on my paper they float as

 

words out of shells.

The form of this poem is lovely..very much like a wave..the metaphorical use of your words invokes a multiple sensory catachresis that is yet simple onto the eyes. Nothing overstated here..just feeling the simplicity of Nature intertwine into your words as seashells. It gets better as I read it, so expect me to reread it again :)
