Who shall remember me?

Who shall remember me?

A Poem by Rudi J.P. Lejaeghere
"

Poetry should... should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts, and appear almost a remembrance. John Keats

"

How will my tomorrow look,

will it be like today,

or as the day of yesterday

will time stay or stop

or just go somewhat slower,

shall I be able to do

what I have postponed till now,

when will be my last day,

my last morning,

how will I disappear here

or will I leave some tracks,

sowing words and sentences

which will grow after me,

who shall remember me,

for who I really was

or tried to be,

who will I be when I’m gone.

Very deep philosophical thoughts and in the end it will not matter. Life is for the living. I am more at peace in life as I write and know if anyone has desire to know me when I am gone, that my words and thoughts which speak of me have been written down. Well done and I like it.

A very thoughtful and beautiful piece. Questions without answers. I don't even know who I am now! A pleasure!

Great questionings here.
Sometimes the same questions I ask to myself but you know we have to answer them by our own for seeking some inspiration because real inspiration comes from within us.

thank you, Spidey for reading my poem :) Rudi
you will be remembered as a poet for sure...your words you will leave behind, and those will etch in others' memories.

you will be a voice that made its mark.
