The blues

I’m feeling the blues

on an evening old

cigarette smoke

 

it’s coming in waves

through my veins

together with the bass

that hammers my heart

with deep, deep strokes

 

while the warmth

of the brass

in the meantime

swings in me

 

a dark voice sings

about love

and it sticks to my ribs

as a grief as old as can be.

All this needs is a guitar and you are set for a lovely song! Ever considered songwriting, Rudi? You evoke such stimuli within the reader that the reader can't help but to be drawn into your writing..and experience the bit of life that you have put into words. Kudos!
