Autumn soundA Poem by Rudi J.P. LejaeghereA symphony of colours.Voices that keep quit from words
fallen leaves silent
colours flutter down
further on
chatters only the
stream uphill against the
sword-grass or a tree
take
something red, something yellow meandering
in velocity it’s full
of sound and supposition
becoming
brown, browner still
till they
are earth and sink
between the cobblestones for ever
drowned in autumn.
