To flower

To flower

A Poem by Rudi J.P. Lejaeghere
"

You can cut all the flowers, but you cannot keep spring from coming. Pablo Neruda

"

Searching for the right words

to hesitate between vowels

putting the correct emphasis

who makes music

when he writes

the muse awake

as she sends her wave to the beach

and let the shells sing

between the seaweed

that is telling the story

of the sea who splashes

and the deep that murmurs

in the yawning mouth

of the muraena

feel the trembling of the hermit crab

the lobster on high heels

the tale that begins

as the water

begins to flower.

You are welcome.
Spring is indeed coming Rudi and not even the territorial muraena can halt its arrival. Like the eel in your photo, I am waiting. I enjoyed this very much.

and watch out for those moray eels...

they can inflict pain...just like thorns of a rose....love can make us bleed...
thus we hesitate...
great piece...and really was taken by the "lobster on high heels"----
