Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis

A Poem by Rudi J.P. Lejaeghere
"

A story only matters, I suspect, to the extent that the people in the story change. Neil Gaiman

"

Straightforward and outspoken

without a ribbon or a frippery

in the shade

of the night

I want to dance naked

in all my ugliness

to wash myself of sins

in the mid of the stars

to burn my clothes

and howl at the moon

to forget what ever was

back off to start and begin again

germinating in the ground

to reinvent a dream

to exist once more.

I do see Beauty in these words
even though
I've never burned my cloths
and Howled at the moon LOL.

I love how you describe Metamorphosis
here and the picture I love my favorite Butterfly
Is the Monarch Butterfly.

Thank you for your kind review and comments
