A chink open

A chink open

A Poem by Rudi J.P. Lejaeghere
"

Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open. John Barrymore

"

Look a bit further than the phrase

that is a chink open like the door

in its own way

just not touching the lock

what can be translated in thoughts

you can read on the face

sometimes an eye that blinks

maybe a little tic

just above the right corner of the mouth

or a tongue that quickly licks the lips

so that the last words

which were swallowed hastily

still are read

in the light that yawns

between the silence and the point

that closes forever.

I agree and I liked the wisdom shared.

The above lines are true. If we observe another and pay attention. We can see and learn good or bad journey. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Damn that happiness sneaking in like that. Many emotions come unexpectedly. Thanks

Speak without words. You have elaborated this theme very well.

I love this Rudi
I have always had this dream
I would meet a man that can read me
The way you write of it
That i would never explain anything
He would be sharp enough to read what i would never say
Just beautiful
