Fallen angel

Fallen angel

A Poem by RubyOmma

How to move on
Hard to move on
Pulled away
lost and frayed.
Ropes that hang.

Taken and flown
the pond has stagnated.

I miss my old self.

The doctors don't help
they just tell me
Pull up your boots
and tighten your knots.
Get better.

But how?

Fallen Angels
all over the place
I can't look at my face.
There is a big bruise there
on my forehead.

I'm shaking and I can't
carry this anymore.
It's heavy
and I am
just a little one.
Just a little girl
Just a little world
all in myself.

Burned off my blonde hair
and now it is brown.
I wish I could take
it all down.

I am fallen,
like a demon angel
Bites and whips
and chains.

Shackle me up in my
straight jacket.
Please.

very introspective Ruby, your taking down your defenses and looking for the way ahead, the Doctors don't know so its your choice of the way to go but no strait jackets needed just a pen and some paper will see you through

Very intense piece... I love it! "I am fallen, like a demon angel. Bites and whips and chains." I love those lines. Awesome work I really enjoyed it

It is true. Without having confident in our-self how could we rise up.
So positive view is the key that take you up and charge.
Good write.
