That night, It was hard for me to sleep.
Not the collar of course.
It is actually made out of a rare stone called prismatic quartz!
It takes all magic in the wearers body, and disables it until it is taken off.
Quite fascinating how some things can render a magic user powerless.

Well, I still fell asleep.
The leaves being blown by the night wind lulled me to sleep.
I felt a special magical connection with nature that I have never known before.
Like... Like I had old earth powers inside of me!
I could map all of my surroundings, look outside, and be PERFECTLY CORRECT!

There's MORE that my parents have been hiding from me?
Ugh, no matter. In the morning, I woke up before anyone else.
It was barely dawn, so I went to the nearest river.
I thought I would do them a favor and get some water from the waterfall I can sense.
Wow, I love the feeling of being in the forest.

I could see it.
The waterfall had growing crystals forming around it.
I felt the smooth gems, then put the large container under the waterfall.
It filled up quickly, so I was on my way back. The sun was starting to rise as I got there. Some of the bandits were already awake, looking around.

"Did she run away?" Kai said.

Then he just turned around and saw me.

"Oh." all the bandits said collectively.

They were all relieved that I was still there and noticed that the container was filled with water.
He just laughed and packed the filled container on the wagon.

"We need to be well armed in case of an attack." Nick said. "Who knows when royal guards are going to find us."

He picked up a longbow and jumped on the carriage.
He then reached out his hand and helped me up. For a bandit, he was a gentleman!
Nick Sparran then grabbed a key from his pocket.

"Because I trust you." He said trustingly, then unlocked my collar.

Strangely, A new collar formed.
Vines slowly and gently wrapped around my neck.

"What in alvar?"  He said.

(Alvar is the name of the elf country.)

It had some kind of gem on it, too.
I just sat down, running my fingers across it.
The vines were so smooth.
The horses whinnied as we rode down the trail.
Nick passed out cloaks to disguise ourselves.

"We are going to be passing through a town." Kai said "We do NOT want to direct attention to ourselves."

Then just looked at me.

"That collar might attract attention." Kieran said "You might want to-"

Then the vines whipped onto my wrist while she talked.
All the bandits just stared at me.

"Well, that's better" Nick said.

I just pulled my hair back and pulled my hood up.
The vine seemed to be the perfect size.
Not too tight and not too loose.
The lush green forests in the light of the rising sun astounded me to no bounds.
I was so overjoyed to finally be out of the castle. I had been waiting for this day for years.

I had an overjoyed smile all over my face.
Nick Sparran just looked at me and smiled.

"Such an unusual Princess." An unnamed bandit murmured.

Kieran just gently elbowed him and looked off to the side.
We were headed towards the small elven town.
It was a good hour away from the capitol, but the army could be anywhere.
After me, or after the last of the shadow elves.
Both were a bounty worth catching.

Trust me, I saw some wanted posters.
We started to play some card games.
We were playing this delightful game called "Jihnsa" where there are cards with numbers that count as points depending on what number you have and you have to add a card to one of three different decks.
You spin a needle that determines which of your decks you choose.
Whoever has the most points wins!

So fun to play to me!
Nick sparran would always give me pointers while he looked out for attacks.

"Nonono. You have to put it in the next deck, Not all willy nilly!" He said smiling, then turned to the lush forests.

For someone so young, he seemed to be the leader of this group of bandits.
Such quiet unity as the small birds chirped and the little forest wyverns stalked their prey of tiny insects.
The wind whispered into my mind in a sweet melody

Loo-Lay life.
Loo Lay Sun
The night has rose
The day is done
Trail spread wide
Where light shall hide
Where daybreak's time shalt confide
Behind the Moon
The brightest star
As it's light
it's beautiful child
Bring her home
to cherish her
remember her
as time runs by
so I say my last goodbye
for this is the last time
I will hide.

That is what I heard in my mind, But no one else heard it
I perfectly memorised it.
Who knows what mysteries it could unlock in the future?
My eyes glittered with excitement as the carriage rolled into the village.
