A wispy tendril of approaching dawn
Doth steal with eager finger cross the purple sky
Then finding silent casement , steals inside
A quiet room where with my love I lie
A glimpse of new born dawn touches your hair
Then dances on the edges of your smile
I raise myself on elbow ...simply stare
To glory in this wondrous scene a while
Breathless...I turn and hold you in my arms
Linger right there in paradise once more
While drops of anguish spill within my soul
To soon cold morning sun will cross my floor
Then you will go.. .sweet lover born of dreams
To mortal form you never have aspired
For you are maiden... born first cousin to Dame moon
Thus better suited to sweet nights attire
To fast on runners feet arrives day's sun
Alas! my chambers empty as I feared
But on my snowy coverlet remains
A single stain...could it be maiden tears?
Empty , now drained... I turn to greet the sun
As memories of you and night just slip away
Moon...hasten down the corridors of time
Give back to me my dream of yesterday!
An Aubade

a instrumental solo

Very beautiful and well written. I think you can remove the wanna-be from your profile, you are a poet my friend.
