Ilex ParaguariensisA Poem by RubickThis is a descriptive piece which identifies the herb Yerba Maté: a faaiirly common beneficial herb consumed by almost everyone here in my country.
From fathoms of this world, it grows:
A greenish leaf of hearty loaves; That stem doth sings, the song of health, And root do springs nature's wealth. From there tis brought: "be herein!" As all applause: "O what a glim!" ********** Holly Family, plants be praised, Genus Flex got its glory made. Cut, and harvest; smoke and trim, Warm the tarted tattered twig. For wet tis grown, bush yet to rise Trees, envious, : "Yari's moonlight!" Love potion of.. friendship likewise! ********** He that brought Lord's masterpiece: Respect we ought to thee "mate;" So name's thus, so named it be: Tea of Il'x par'guari'nsis. Yet names make none, o friend, come! Let us melt inside this pun: Yerba herb: fine nature's cut That names won't change, no matter what. © 2017 RubickAuthor's Note
