I'm lighter, and I'm emptier,
I'm a little less blind, and a little less crazy.
But I'm a little more scared, and a litle more sceptic.

There is always a time for you, though.
A time to think about the past and smile smoothly,
A time to think about the present and cry pathetically.
But life goes on with or without me, and so did you.
At least I dont miss you now.
As a lover.

But I miss you as a friend.
I miss the way we were.
We promise to each other to never let go.
But those were sweet sweet lies.
Love made me believe in them.

It was nice seeing you, though.
It was nice to see that you are great without me.
Anyway, it was nice to see you again.

I loved this!! I've been through a situation so similar to this. When you see someone that you used have a relationship with, it brings back a flood of memories and ideas of what the two of you could've been... and when you see that they have moved on and are happy without you, it can hurt so badly... but it also sets you free. Because you're free to find the person you were truly meant to be with.
