Senseless Notes From A Man On Fire

Senseless Notes From A Man On Fire

A Poem by RûbbërSøul
"

A great Acid trip I had at Phillip Island, which is located about an hour out of Melbourne, Australia. I'll never forget it.

"
Fragments of sound
Shards of light
Oil rig by day
Chrysanthemum by night

Static waves, seductive in flight
Gracefully scaling the peaks of our minds
Senseless notes these may be
'Tho one thing cannot be denied
On the pier I was weightless
And flew with the tide

Echoes of waves not long passed
Maybe I've finally become
One with the ocean at last

Fun Fact: Not that I'm encouraging it, but if you ever find yourself experimenting with LSD, make sure at some point in the night you go off and get some alone time. Make sure you've got music and headphones there, and listen to the album 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn' by Pink Floyd from start to finish. It'll take you on a journey that you'll never forget.

Not senseless at all. Read it several times. I also loved how you stuck to your element and infused the theme to the entire poem to make it more coherent.
