Wondering

Wondering

A Poem by RûbbërSøul
"

I wrote this during a pretty rough part of my life, I'm sure you figured that out on your own.

"
Wondering where I'll end up in this crazy game,
No life, no job, no income to claim,
No car either, and for that I'm to blame
In fact, I'd say on all fronts i bring shame to my name.

Friend situation in a similar place,
There's no trust with my mates they're all two-faced
I'd rather solace over fakes anyday
There's no grace in facing mates in a literal rat race

All that's left is to find a job and earn pay
Make up for the time I've spent as a waste of space
While my love supports me in every way
I pray night and day that she's here to stay

Author's Note

RûbbërSøul
I know it sounds very much like I'm moping around feeling sorry for myself, which I probably was. But at that stage in my life I really believed I was nothing but a burden to my friends and family.
