I have found them

My soul mate

I can feel our energies

Calling for each other

Right here in front of me

But we could be miles apart

Peeking through a window

We are both locked away

In a jail of flesh and bones

impure, jealous, vindictive,

This infected casing

suffocating our true selves

Stealing from us

our ability to love

in its truest form

My soul mate

I can see your tears match mine

As we claw away at these barriers

aching to feel complete

silent howls of frustration resonate

I see the hope dimming

the same as mine

These temporary things

keeping us from destiny

This should not stop us

Why cant we be stronger

I can feel you there

But I cant touch you

when will we be free?

lonely In this reality

Keeping us from connection

my soul mate

I leave my body in meditation

seeking you out

i see your light

You are searching for me too

I know if we can be

We can make our own reality

create our own way

where love rules all

empty corpses demanding us back

And we are seperated once again

I long for the day

we break these shackles

I dream of a time yet to come

when we can soar
