If only our eyes saw soulsA Poem by Ralph RosellA dedication to all women!I forgot to tell her how beautiful she is. Because of how shallow my mind can be sometimes. Affected by this complicated society. They would say she looks ugly. To me, beauty became so much more than what we were born with. Appearances don’t really matter when people decide to open up and connect with the soul. Been single for a while now, and like most guys, I’ve called a lot of women pretty, cute, hot, stunning, sexy, gorgeous, telling them they look so damn good. Telling women they’re beautiful based on their appearances; which can be quite deceiving at times. I want to say sorry for telling most of you that you’re beautiful only because of what genes you received from your parents. I should’ve said that you were beautiful because of who you’ve become as a woman. How can you only be proud of what’s on the outside when you have this shining personality harder than diamonds molded by all the hardships and pain you’ve been through, locked inside that decorated treasure chest. From now on, I’ll make sure I say that you’re brave, brilliant, resilient, and beyond amazing. Not because I don’t think you’re good looking, but because you are beautiful in so many different ways. © 2015 Ralph RosellFeatured Review
