My Soul's Mate

Where oh where

I at last feel whole
Running over from cup to bowl
Yet it seems to me like all pretend
When I know that  there is a hole

I want you inside me, just under the skin
I want you to fill me up, from start to end
Take me for your own
Never more alone

Where are you, where have you been?
I need you here, my soul to mend
I've been living without you this long life now
For some unknown reason my soul to you endowed

Please don't forever forget me
For the more I've filled and filled and filled this vacancy
The more excruciating my fate
When you,  when you alone are my soul's mate
