Forgiven

Forgiven

A Poem by EcstaticEuphoria
"

To he that is perfect, cast the first stone...

"
In adoration I clench thee close
Press thee to thy breast,
Yesteryear forgotten, abstracted from remembrance
That once thee, to me, personified hate
Yet now forgiven, forever replaced in affinity

For to hate thee is to hate mine own shadow
Or to choke thee out is to still mine own breath
For in any desire to desirith vengeance
Or to imagine thee as darkness, would mine own light negate
Because surely if I am, then you are too, divinity

Relate to that ... I like the way you expressed the past compared to present. You've got an excellent vocabulary.

Thank u so much Barnaby!
I heart Shakespeare and I heart your rendition of your poetic endeavors for it. Nicely done. :)
