Adventures DweltA Poem by EcstaticEuphoriaNo longer your treasure...
Once, you touched me that way.
Tenderness in your finger tips. Held my hand, Like a priceless souvenir Of passion, That only we had felt For a thousand lifetimes. What fee must I pay For the taste of your lips? Like it was a cost we planned, A remittance austere. Or a ration Of disappointment dealt, A compensation for our crimes. Once, you came to stay. But like most wandering ships, How could you leave the sea so grand, And not conquer the next frontier? How could you forsake the call of action, Or abandon the adventures that dwelt In your pastimes? © 2017 EcstaticEuphoriaReviews
