HelloA Poem by RELavenderMy way of saying HelloHello to the broken Hello to the bent Hello to the crushed souls whose time and money's spent. Hello to weary Hello to the weak Hello to the depressed minds, that can only see the bleak. Hello to the lost and tired masses who come here just to fill their glasses met by only discrimination and scorn in a world where the hungry are forlorn. Hello, Hello I want to say Hello Hello, Hello, I see you don’t you know Hello, Hello I know your name but we’re not the same Hello, Hello, Hello, HelloHello to the swollen Hello to the beat Hello to the refugees, who seek to rest their feet. Hello to the hopeful Hello to the child Hello to the little men, who know nothing but the wild. Hello to the depraved immigrants who come here for refreshment to the land of gold and honey only to find a land enslaved by money and not a drop of replenishment. Hello, Hello I want to say Hello Hello, Hello, I see you don’t you know Hello, Hello I know your name but we’re not the same Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello© 2016 RELavender |
