All right so here's the first of the prompts. The club started a while ago so I've got much more but I'll try get a story up every week. Being behind on here means I can never get behind on posts.

"
"So, what scares me the most?" Frederick asked the grim group, who sat around the triangular table.
A long time ago,  at least it seems like a long time to me now, I was minding my business, walking my dog Karambae. I named him after the greatest piece of literature of all-"
"Oi' cotton swab," growled sharp-tongued Loki Marence, "keep on subject, if you please."
"Right, right." he responded, shrinking in his seat under Marence's glare, "so I'm walking my dog and these clouds rolled in. Looking all dark 'an high and mighty. So me and K-dog decided to walk around the woods until the storm passed."
"I must ask," interrupted the low voiced, sneering Luther Coal, "did the dog verbally agree or was that just you?"
"Just me," Frederick clarified, "Alright, we were walking through the woods when I start t hear these big, thundering footsteps. I looked around and found nothing peculiar within the trees. We keep walking, and then I hear this swishing noise. Once again, nothing out of the ordinary. But then I noticed something hiding behind me"
He drew in a breathe and Frederick strightend in his chair.
"There was this figure, this tall looming figure. It was no taller than the trees but far taller than any human." Frederick swallowed the lump forming in his throat.
"It's face. It's faces was the most remarkable thing about it." Frederick began twitching, "It's cold, dark, sunken eyes were a sour sight, and they, they oozed!" he bellowed.
Frederick had now pulled his legs up to his chest. His eyes looked pained. He continued, "It's eyes oozed some sort of orange substance. It had a very  sharp, hooked nose, and it's mouth looked like how gravel feels."
"What do you mean by that dear?" cheery old Rosey Lavender smiled.
"When it simled bits quite literally falling off of it's face." Frederick shuddered, "Where was I? Right. So it was just standing there ." he was barley whispering now, "I tried to walk away, but somehow, even though it was a couple of miles away, it had it's hand on my shoulder. I, I felt dizzy. Then I woke up hear."
He spoke uncertainty, and there was an eerie silence. Finally Marence spoke up. However his voice was sympathetically soft. "How interesting. Well, Mr. Tobias R. Frederick, welcome to the 'Died Under Mysterious Circumstances Support' Group. Thank you for sharing your story."
