Frosted over

Frosted over

A Poem by RoyRogers
"

The past

"
Reading old poetry
Missing old friends
Reflecting on the past is always a pain
The world is forward and there is no moving back
So why is it that I feel so hallow inside
After awhile you just begin to die
There is a obvious reason but you have to wonder why
Why do you still care, and why do you still care inside
To the point that you turn to ice and nothing can thaw you out
You feel empty and alone no matter what you do
Since every time you cared that person abandoned you
and now you are not sure what to do
No more can you feel
Your hallow and blue
Like the snow of a storm
You are frosted over

Time frosts over your heart, hardening it to the decades between minutes.
Nice write, I like the cold, just this once.
